Notes app of Vivid Dreams

Hi Blog! Today I find my inspiration from dreams I still remember. My whole life I have had very vivid lucid dreams, there are ones I still remember from childhood and think about often. They never make much sense but feel as real as I do right now. The images of the dream often leave me feeling confused but I always seem to understand what my mind meant through the evoked emotions. Trusting my dreams has always been a very personal and spiritual thing for me and writing them down has always been a little hobby of mine. Here’s a few old ones I read today and smiled :)

The Sun Exploded

I dreamt of a really big sun

buying a whole pomegranate

chia seeds growing in water

and my mother

and the end

but the acceptance of it

the sun got big

and there was a great beauty in the blazing sky

and my father held my hand

and things were okay

and I was excited to do something new

Dinner in the Donegal Bog

I dreamt of seals swimming away from whales

and a swing in an empty bog filled field

and dinner invites I wanted to decline

and a near plane crash

I recognized this place as the home of my father

where I used to ride a horse named Texas

met by an epiphany that nothing is real

Salt Hugs

I had a dream I was a mermaid

and the depths of the ocean weren’t a cold and dark, glooming place

It was like a constant hug of all consuming salt

And I just swam away

From everything I thought I should know
